For nineteen years — since joining as a mainframe developer in August 2007 — I’ve led modernization and cloud transformation across global banking platforms.
That work has spanned Source-to-Pay, Treasury, Payments, Investments, and regulatory reporting, moving systems from mainframe and monolith toward containerized, cloud-native delivery.
I’m currently Vice President and Senior Full-Stack Lead at Citi, working as a technical SME across UI and Java platforms. Before that, delivery and technical leadership at BNY Mellon. Outside of the day job I write about the craft itself — typography, agile, and what actually makes an engineer complete.

Tech Lead for Third-Party Source-to-Pay (TPS2P), giving end-to-end technical guidance across UI and Java platforms — architecture, sequencing, and execution for modernization and legacy decommissioning.
Among the first in the group to complete migration from legacy to modern CI/CD; go-to advisor for containerization and application security / open-source risk tooling; technical interviewer for hundreds of hires.

Delivery & Technical Lead for a Real-Time Payments platform in Treasury Services — UI architecture in Angular/AngularJS integrated with Java, REST, and mainframe backends; managed and mentored the engineering team.
Built an enterprise SLA dashboard platform (Digital Pulse) end-to-end from scratch — architecture, UI, application code, deployment pipelines — aggregating mainframe systems across regions for senior leadership.
